Feel free to reach me via email, or call me directly at 405-408-3357 if you have any questions at all!
Still have questions?
I take your privacy very seriously. Boudoir photography is a very intimate affair. We will be the only people in the shooting space during your session and I am the only one who will see your images – besides you, of course, and anyone you choose to share the final images with!
Again, I will only share your images publicly if you choose to give me the honor of signing a model release, and I hope you do!
I am 100% committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment and experience with me – from the moment you inquire about a boudoir shoot, to the day of your shoot, and even after I deliver your stunning images.
How do you protect my privacy?
In order not to forfeit your deposit, we require a 7-day notice if you can’t make your scheduled boudoir photo shoot.
If you let us know 7 days prior to your session, your retainer is good for an alternate date.
If you cancel your shoot less than 7 days before your shoot, there will be a $50 rescheduling fee due to rebook.
What is your cancellation policy?
Absolutely! After your shoot, you'll be treated to a personal gallery reveal to review your images. At that time, you'll be guided through our product offerings to select what you would like to purchase.
Can I purchase more images than the ones in my chosen package?
Once your package has been paid for in full, your product order will be placed within 48 hours. We'll reach out via email when it is time for you to come pick up your gorgeous images and/or album at the studio.
What is the turn-around time for images and albums?
After your shoot, your images are culled and processed by me. I do color correction, white balance, as well as skin smoothing, and also remove blemishes. If there are specific edits that you would like, there may be an additional cost depending on the type of edit.
How much will you edit my photos?
That depends which package you select. Your boudoir session will last approximately 1 to 2 hours. This will include hair and makeup, and 2-3 outfit changes, as well. In total, you can expect to spend a minimum of 3 hours at the studio.
My assistant, Katy, will let you know exactly how long to plan on being with us depending on your shoot.
How long will my shoot last?
I do ask that you avoid tanning before your session. Tanning always shows up VERY orange in images, and can cause tan lines, orange palms, orange heels, and other odd markings on the body.
If you feel you must tan before your boudoir photo shoot, I recommend that you ONLY see Andrea Barnard for your spray tan. Keep in mind that at-home spray tans can also rub off on clothing and furniture.
If you do come in after recently tanning, we cannot be responsible for tan lines in images which may result in additional editing needed. Additional charges for editing lines may be required.
Should I tan before my shoot?
Yes I do! I do keep them very tasteful, classic, SUPER sexy, and oh so fun!
Do you do nude sessions?
Absolutely! Boudoir photography is for every body type. I specialize in posing women of all shapes and sizes.
Do you shoot girls with curves?
Yes, we do! I am usually booked about 2 months in advance for weekend dates. I do also shoot weddings and sometimes shoot on location during weekends. Reach out to find out more about my upcoming availability!
Do you have weekend availability?
I shoot primarily using natural light so the timing of shoots largely depends on the time of year and available sunlight. My first session of the day can begin as early as 9:00 AM. I shoot throughout the entire day and my last shoot of the day typically begins at 4 PM.
Hair and makeup is included with all sessions, so you can expect to spend a minimum of 3 hours at the studio.
What times of day do you typically book shoots?
I will never post anything without your permission and a signed model release. I know boudoir photography produces intimate images and would never share anything without your consent.
I do take care in choosing public images; all those you see online are boudoir photos that our clients have graciously allowed us to use and have signed a model release for.
Do you post my images online?
We certainly understand the desire to bring a friend along for moral support and you can definitely have someone join you while you are prepping for your shoot.
However, once we begin photographing, only you and I will be allowed in the photographing area during your session.
Additionally, because viewing your images can be a vulnerable experience, and for the comfort of other clients we may have in the studio that day, I do not allow friends, significant others, spouses, or children in the studio during boudoir sessions or gallery reveals.
Can I have a friend come with me?
Believe me, I know nerves can be a concern for a shoot like this, and most of my clients do come in a bit nervous.
I want you to take a big breath and relax because you are in EXCELLENT hands. It is not your job to take a good picture; it’s MINE!
I am going to coach you, guide you, and pose you in ways that will accentuate your gorgeous body. Together we will create beautiful, emotive, and evocative images that will take your breath away.
I’m nervous and scared and have no idea how to be sexy! What do I do?
It sure does! This is your day to pamper yourself and indulge in this experience. Boudoir makeup should be heavier than you would normally wear and our artists are trained to know how much to put on for your session. The camera wipes away about 50% of makeup you put on, so it’s really important to not just wear makeup but to wear it well!
Does hair and makeup come with my session?
Yes! I highly recommend planning your boudoir photo shoot wardrobe in advance. Take your time trying on different lingerie pieces and finding what you love and feel most comfortable and sexy in. I am available to help you pick out pieces and point you in the right direction of where to shop!
I do have an ever-growing collection of outfits for you to try, as well; however I do recommend looking for your pieces, too.
Don’t forget about shopping for fun boudoir accessories such as stockings, garters, heels, jewelry, etc.!
